A New Generation

I just can't Stand my Generation! It's Terrible "REALLY IT IS!" It's just so sad. I honestly do not see no hope for us at ALL! And to think I have to live in this SH*TTY A$$ Generation. I am really fed up with it but I have to deal with it too. There are times I wish that I were born in another time and age not saying that they were any better but it's just how I feel.

This Generation Really SUCKS! being the young women that I am you would think that I could adapt to the ways things are, but in Reality I CAN'T STAND IT! Everything is too Worldly SEX, SEX, SEX, SEX is All you here about in today's society and a BIG popularity to my kind. Baby Mommas and Baby Daddies Gays, Lesbos, Bi, Downlow, Swingers, so forth and so on. If I just stepped on your toe then just say OUCH! I am just being honest!

I guess you could just say time is Changing look at all the Crazy A** S**T! that's going on. Just Look Around! In the Schools, on the streets, in your home, in different countries EVERYWHERE! Time is winding up and we need to get it together but unfortunately we don't seem to be getting the message. Back in the day things were bad, but now in the present things have gotten so much worst. There is just so much going on, everyday, twenty four hours and seven days a week, 365 day in a year.

Time is Flying by so FAST! This year has gotten away from us as we know it and 2008 is just around the corner. As my mom would call it "The signs of Time!" I don't know about you but I've seen just about ALL of them SERIOUSLY! We are living in a DANGEROUS WORLD, there is so much CRAZINESS out there. Shootings, Killings, Kidnappings, I could go on and on. It's a TOUGH world out there and we have to be cautious.

Imitation of Life (1959 version)

One of my All time favorite movies is, "Imitation of Life!" I just got finish watching this movie. Not only is this movie a classic, but there is a message in this move. There were actually Four messages. The movie starts off on the Beach where Lora played by Lana Turner and her daughter Susie were at. Susie and Sarah Jane were playing on the Beach. Lora was at a panic trying to find Susie thinking that she has lost her. When she has finally found Susie with the Aide of a Police Officer, there she was with Sarah Jane and Annie Johnson played by Juanita Moore.

During the time on the Beach Annie and Lora had some time to talk while the Girls played. Steve the photographer had taken a picture of Lora while she was searching for Susie, he had also taken a picture of a man asleep while Susie and Sarah playfully placed a can on his big fat belly. A lot has happened during the Beach scene but later on in the movie Annie and Sarah Jane wound up moving in with Lora and Susie. Lora's Dream was to become a Star she wanted to be in the movies and on stage however, she had to go through a lot to get to that point in her Life. She barely made quality time for her daughter because of her busy schedule of starring in various plays.

Annie Johnson had to deal with her daughter who rejected her own race. Even though she could pass for White, she could not accept the fact that she was colored. So she posed and conducted herself as if she was white. Years have past Lora's acting career had become very successful, the Girls have grown up into women and Annie was still dealing with Sarah Jane trying to pass for White. Annie had fought this battle with for many years and from it her health slowly begin to fade. All Sarah cared about was not being discovered that she was Black. She felt that White people were treated better so she pretended to be White. It was Sad to know that she was ashamed of her own color, she even rejected her own mother.

While Lora was starring in movies and plays Susie felt rejected. Annie practically raised Sarah Jane and Susie.When Lora spends time with Susie it was on short terms, that is why she felt the way she was feeling all of these years. Susie needed her mother but she was hardly ever around. As a teenager she had fallen for Steve, the man that was in Love with her mother. To make a long story short, Lora was too busy chasing her dreams of becoming a star when her daughter really needed her and Sarah Jane practically worried her mom and her Health slowly begin to fade. Towards the end of the movie Annie dies. Her funeral was held and Sarah Jane shows up unexpectedly feeling that it was her fault that her mom had died.

Grown Women!!

Grown WomenGirls want to control the man in their life. Grown women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling. Girls yell at you for not calling them. Grown women are too busy to realize you hadn't. Girls are afraid to be alone. Grown women revel in it-using it as a time for personal growth. Girls ignore the good guys. Grown women ignore the bad guys. Girls make you come home. Grown women make you want to come home. Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans. Grown women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits. Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man. Grown women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man. Girls try to monopolize all their man's time (i.e., don't want him hanging with his friends). Grown women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special-and goes out with her own friends Girls think a guy crying is weak. Grown women offer their shoulder and a tissue. Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so. Grown women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of losing his 'manhood'. Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it. Grown women know that was just one man. Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, ignoring all 'signs'. Grown women know that sometimes the one's you love, don't always love you back-and move on, without bitterness. Girls will read this and get an attitude. Grown women will read this and pass it on to other Grown women and their male friends.

Day Two Evening Classes with H&R Block

Ok first off I was about 30 minutes late, I was told that the class started at 6:30 when it was really 6. Anyways we learned about the different types of Forms 1040EZ, 1040A, and the 1040. The shortest is the 1040EZ it has 13 lines. The Longest is the 1040 and 1040A is sort of in the middle. We also learned about the W-2 Form and it too also came in differnt forms. We did in class work pertaining to the 1040EZ, we filled out a Form and learned what each box, what each line was for and what input went to what line or what box should be checked. There is so much to learn but it is very interesting and informative. There is a lot of stuff to learn when becoming a tax professional. I am looking forward for the next several Chapters.

First Day of Classes with H & R Block

It Started off very slow. I Guest that is what happens when classes start a Day after a Holiday, people are are still on vacation. but anyways I was the only student in attendance which is fine with me, I will be one step ahead of everyone. I have my workbooks and my materials so I am all set and ready to go.

A New Plan in Life!

Well it's official! I had just recently enrolled into an H&R Block Tax Referral course and my classes start on 9/4/07 and I am so excited. Hopefully after the course I will be placed as a Professional Tax Referral in my area. As I would always say if Plan A doesn't work then try Plan B only in my case I also have plan C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, so forth and so on. I've tried it ALL and now I'm taking another road and seeing how it works out. I have tried being a Mortgage Loan Officer but it was like Telemarketing and we all know that No One doesn't want to be bothered with a Telemarketer especially if they are not looking to Refinance, so they let me go of course. My field of studies is Computer Networking and they're not giving me a cut either so I have decided to step out of my comfort zone and try out some other fields where I am comfortable or until I can actually get my foot through a Door, meanwhile I will continue my journey and keep climbing to the top. Things happen for a reason and for all I know all these closed doors are only leading my to the right Door so I will definetly "Keep the Faith!" "I still have a Long Journey!"

God Our Protector

Psalms 91

Whoever goes to the Lord for safety,
whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,
can say to him,
"You are my defender and protector.

Single Life

I just come to realization that there is nothing wrong with being single. Now don't get me wrong Yes I would Love to be in a serious Relationship, if its in my future I would Love to get married and all that good stuff but Right Now its just a little more complicated. No one said that Life would be easy and Relationships comes with its Ups and Downs.
Thats why a lot of people today chose to be single because they don't want to go through the Drama of being Hurt again. Some people today been in really hurtful Relationships and would rather not deal with such pain. Some people are more Happy Single because they've been through the Drama of Relationships and don't want to go there again. Others are willing to work things out despite their Ups and Downs.

A Fresh New Start

I Have had thoughts of moving on with my life and pursuing my dreams for a while. Now I have been unemployed and sitting on my rear end for quite some time now, however another Door was opened for me. If I can't get employment in California then why not somewhere else like in Fort Worth, Texas or even St. Louis, Missouri? These are the two states I am thinking of moving to in order to get my foot through a Door and Start off on my own. I Have already Researched both States and know all about them, For One I have Relatives in both States and they are willing to help me out until I am able to hold my own, and two I have already applied to several Job positions in both the areas. So I just need to make a decision on which state I want to move to.If I want to move to Fort Worth, Texas or to St. Louis Missouri? Well I will hopefully make a decision before this Year is over with. It's time for me to venture out and see the world. It's time to see the World has in store for me, I would be surprised at what I can discover and learn on my own, it might not be easy but I must admit it's time for me to face the Real World.

Opened and Closed Doors

We need to learn to thank the Lord for closed doors just as much as we
do for open doors. The reason God closes doors
is because He has not prepared anything over there for us.
If he didn't close the wrong door we would never find our way to the
right door. Even when we don't realize it, God directs our paths
through the closing and opening of doors. When one door closes, it
forces us to change our course. Another door closes; it forces us to
change our course yet again.
Then finally, we find the open door and walk right into His best for us.
But instead of praising God for the closed door (which kept us out of
trouble), we get upset because it took "God so long" and
we "judge by the appearances." And in our
own arrogance, or ignorance, we insist that we know what is right.
We have a very present help in the time of need who is always standing
guard. Because He walks ahead of us, He can see trouble down the road
and HE sets up road blocks and detours accordingly. But through
our lack of wisdom we try to tear down the roadblocks or push aside the
detour signs. Then the minute we get into trouble, we start crying "Lord
how could this happen to me?"
We have got to realize that the closed door was a blessing. Didn't He
say that "No good thing will He withhold from them that walk upright?"
If you get terminated from your job - don't be down, instead thank God
for the new opportunities that will manifest themselves - it might be a
better job, or an opportunity to go to school. If that man or woman
won't return your call - it might not be them, it might be the Lord
setting up a roadblock (just let it go).
One time a person had a bank he had been doing business with for many
years tell him "NO" for a $10,000 loan. The Lord led him to call another
bank. That bank approved a $40,000 loan for him at a lower interest rate
than his own bank had advertised.
I'm so grateful, for the many times God has closed doors to me, just to
open them in the most unexpected places. "The steps of a good man are
ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way." (Psalms 37:23) The
mountain top is glorious, but it is in the Valley that we grow!

An old man, Mr. Wallace, was living the last of hislife in a Nursing home. My Weekend

Well my weekend was pretty dull, nothing exciting happened, Friday was Laundry Day and then Saturday and Sunday were sort of slow which is ok. On today which would be Monday 11, 2007 of June I was planning on going down to my shcool to take care of some business, however I got stuck babysitting (Details Later) but anyways here I am home on a gloomy day which brings me to the Phrase "June Gloom" Ever since the beginning of June it has been Gloomy except on Saturday it was a Absolutely Beautiful Day!! The sun was out, the Sky was Blue and The Clouds were Fluffy White. On Sunday we had Children's Day at Church which turned out Really Nice. Other then that this concludes my Weekend I'll admit though It wasn't too bad. Two more events to happen in the month of June would be Father's Day, and Summer Begins in this month.

"Bored Out of my DAMN Mind Literally!!"

You just don't know the impact that boredom does to me, I need to get out and Get a life, however with No money there not much that I can really do!!. I could go somewhere and see something that I might want or want to go do and then find out that it costs in order to do it. But there are some things that does not involve money, The Park, The Library, The Beach, etc. So therefore there is still hope. On the fact that I am bored I find things to do regardless even if its just to go outside fro some fresh air. Times are changing now and things are starting to get more complicated. It doesn't bother me though I just learn how to deal with it. I call friends on the phone but their either at work or out in the streets. But its ok I will survive.

People Today!!

You Know I just don't Understand people today and their mood swings, well not exactly a mood swing but just how they act. One minute their talking to you and then the next their avoiding you. What is the deal with People and their Attitudes? One minute you think their your friend and then the next you don't hear from them. When you try to get in touch with them they never reply to you. "I just don't understand that!!" Maybe their just too busy or don't have the time, since when do people don't have the time to a friend or at least say hi how is life treating you? I guess it just how things are these days.
